She is a member of Indian Medical Association, Women Doctor’s Association, American Fertility Society, European Society of Human Reproduction & Embryology (ESHRE) and New York Academy of Medical Sciences.

She regularly writes on health issues for major Tamil dailies like Ananda Vikatan, Mangayar Malar, Snegithi, Malai Malar, Dinakaran and also appears on major networks’ (Sun TV, DD, Raj TV, Sun News) health programmes.

Apart from infertility and gynaecological surgery, her fieldsof interest includes social problems in women and the Hindu religion. She organizes blood donations every month at Sri Ayyappa temple at Trichy. She is the President of the Free Legal Aid Center for Women at Trichy and has organized a helpline for women in Trichy in conjunction with the Trichy police. She is also a member of ‘Arivoli’- a literacy mission on health care.
